DDS Roofing recently completed this roof replacement in Ventnor, New Jersey at the home of Mr. Jagirdar. His old roof was over 15 years old. That may not seem like a very old roof, but the wear and tear of the salty air and Nor-Easter storms on a beachside home can make a 15 year old roof look like a 30 year old roof. DDS removed a layer of old roofing as well as performed a number of structural repairs to the underlying plywood sheathing. DDS also replaced all of the pipe collars and the step flashing. The new roof with dimensional shingles should last for 50 years!

DDS recently repainted Connolly Family Dentistry in Sewell, NJ. It was well past time for a color and décor change at this respected family dentistry practice in Sewell. The green and burgundy had run its course on the exterior trim. The red brick needed a brightening up. The stained entry doors were also in need of a modern facelift.

DDS was called in to prep and paint all the trim, entry doors, brick and railings on the exterior building.
After a washing of all surfaces the DDS professional paint mechanics applied two coats of the new color selection to all windows, doors, trim, brick and railings on the entire building. Matt did a great job managing the painting team around office traffic and customers without causing any issues.

DDS recently painted some cabinets at Calvary Hill Church on 535 Mullica Hill Road in Glassboro, New Jersey. The cabinets were in a small apartment on the campus of the church that is used to house missionaries. Painting cabinets can be a disaster if not done correctly. When done properly, it can enhance and update any kitchen for many years.

Calvary Hill church was ready to update the appearance of the huge kitchen in its apartment on its Glassboro campus. DDS was asked to get the job done quickly and correctly.  After removing the hardware, the two man team of Karl and Dean sanded and cleaned all surfaces. Then a coat of bonding primer was applied. It is the most important phase of the job to assure adhesion to the cabinet surfaces that are previously finished with a polyurethane.

Multiple coats of a very hard top grade finish paint was necessary. The better the material the less distinguishable are the brush and roller marks. Another stellar job completed on time.

Before and After Painting Cabinets at Calvary Hill Church Apartment

DDS recently restored the exterior of a Haddonfield Home. This beautiful older home in Haddonfield, New Jersey required quite a bit of preparation. The wood siding, windows and trim were in need of some TLC. Preparation included scraping, sanding and priming. Then two coats in three different colors of a top grade 100% acrylic exterior paint was applied.

In addition, the metal roof was restored with a coating specifically designed for metal roofs. Preparation is the key. A washing, hand scraping, and leak inspection were necessary before the roof coating was applied.

Many of the professional applicators at DDS Services were on site and did a neat and clean job. Thanks to Frank for leading the job to the finish line. The Homeowner was extremely pleased with the service and workmanship.

DDS Restoration of the Exterior of a Haddonfield Home

DDS recently installed new flooring at Aura Elementary School. The tile floor in the boys bathroom at Aura school was buckled and coming apart. (see pictures below). After years many years the tile was pulling apart from the subfloor. A DDS prep crew removed the partitions and toilets and removed all the tile in the entire floor. The next step was to grind and sand the subfloor. Some concrete patchwork was also necessary.

The final stage was the coating process. This was done in three stages on three separate days. A two-part bonding primer was applied to help bind the old and new concrete and prime the surface for its finish coats. A first coat of a two-part epoxy floor coating in the selected color and the final coat with a aggregate added on top to make the finish skid proof.

Mr. and Mrs. Kent were very excited when the day came to have their shingle roof replaced. We protected the house and vegetation from falling debris and removed all existing materials down to the wood sheathing. We inspected the sheathing and only had to replace one sheet of plywood. After we put down all the new flashing details, the GAF timberline dimensional shingles were installed. The Kents selected the color “Hickory” which is a very rich brown color.

Mrs. Kent said, “The roof looks absolutely wonderful” and was surprised we had it done and cleaned up in a day.

DDS recently painted the Clearview High School gym in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Clearview High School is hopeful to be starting up school in September. With that comes summer months of building maintenance. The historic “Hank Gym” was in need of a fresh paint job. DDS was fortunate to be awarded the painting project at the Clearview High School Gymnasium. Our top notch team of Karl and John did an outstanding job with the prep work, scissor lift operation, Painting of the walls and cleanup.

We applied a pre-catalyzed epoxy in a bright creamy color to the walls that goes well with the Pioneer green decals strategically placed throughout the gymnasium. The job was completed quickly and without any issues. The Administration was delighted with the job and could not say enough about our experienced paint mechanics.

DDS Painting recently painted the cedar shake style vinyl siding in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Yes you can paint vinyl siding! The cedar style shakes on this beautiful Mullica Hill home were faded far from their original color. After a thorough washing with detergent and water, the tedious process of painting the vinyl style shakes began.

First a bonding primer was applied to assure adhesion. The finish coat is a 100% acrylic vinyl friendly paint in a perfectly selected cedar color to accentuate the style shake. From the street it now looks exactly like natural cedar.

To complete the job, two coats of white paint was applied to the fypon trim material above the windows and the trim around the circle windows that had weathered over the years.  The Professional applicators at DDS Services did a neat and clean job. Thanks to Juan for leading the job from start to finish.

DDS recently completed the painting of a home in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey for the Conley family. We completely repainted the exterior of  this beautiful residential home to reveal the true beauty and architecture of the residence. This home’s exterior steel siding was in desperate need of paint maintenance. The existing paint had faded badly and the caulking throughout had failed.

Our experienced paint mechanics first power washed the home with eco-friendly detergent. The Team then remove and recaulked as needed. After a thorough prep was completed, the painting began. Two coats of 100% acrylic exterior paint was applied to all siding, chimney stucco, front entry doors, basement bilco door and some trim. All the while protecting landscaping and all finished surfaces. Another clean job with another  satisfied customer. Thanks to DDS team members Dean and Frank for a great job well done.
