DDS recently completed a large-scale roof recoating project for Joffe Millwork & Supply in Vineland, NJ, covering 85,000 square feet of commercial roofing. The project utilized a high-solid silicone coating, specifically recommended for areas prone to ponding water. The primary goal was to restore the roof’s integrity, extend its lifespan, and address active leaks, ensuring the facility remained fully protected from the elements.
Our approach began with a thorough inspection to identify and repair all active leaks, providing a stable foundation for the new coating. Next, the roof underwent extensive power washing to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants, ensuring the silicone would adhere properly. Once the surface was fully prepared, our skilled team applied the high-solid silicone coating using a rolling method, covering the main roof as well as smaller adjacent bays to ensure uniform protection. Every step of the process was guided by long-tenured DDS team members, whose extensive experience ensured precision, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the project.
